An Affordable Apartment Community in Downtown Jacksonville
Jacksonville, FL – December 6, 2018 – The Vestcor Companies is proud to announce the completion of Lofts at Monroe.
Located at the intersection of W. Monroe and N. Davis Streets, Lofts at Monroe provides quality housing in downtown Jacksonville for individuals who make less than 60% of the area median income. This 108-unit community is comprised of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments. Amenities include a fitness center, internet café, resident lounge with shuffleboard and foosball tables, a dog walk area and monthly resident events.
Lofts at Monroe was financed by a combination of loans from Neighborhood Lending Partners of Florida, Wells Fargo, and the Low-Income Housing Tax Credits administered by Florida Housing Finance Corporation. Funding was also provided by the Downtown Investment Authority and Jacksonville Housing Finance Authority. Vestcor partnered with Eisman & Russo, Group 4 Design, Inc., and Summit Contracting Group to complete the community.
This is Vestcor’s second “Lofts” community completed in the area with a third under construction, Lofts at Jefferson Station, which will open in the fall of 2019.
